John Kim

After starting out as a volunteer on his school yearbook team, John has quickly evolved into a highly versatile photographer, showing what’s possible for young artists in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Since beginning his career as a student in 2022, he’s been published multiple times in Aquila, the Bentley student art magazine. He’s also been displayed at the Frank Bette Center for the Arts in Alameda, CA. His Oaxaca Through The Lens collection is currently on display at Agave Uptown restaurant in Oakland, CA.

Now, John is expanding his artistic expertise by pursuing digital art and graphic design. His new collection, The Art of Infinity, is his first completely digital art series, made by combining mathematical equations to create complex and stunning fractal renders.

Future exhibitions include a subsequent display at the FBCA in March 2025 and at the Orinda Library at the same time alongside other up-and-coming Bay Area youth artists.
